Allerton is looking for the next Rooting a Deeper Connection resident

Rooting a Deeper Connection (RDC) is a residency that launched last spring with the intention of “focusing on artistic and environmental innovation within the Black and Latinx communities.” There are two different types of residencies: Artist-in-Residence and Naturalist-in-Residence. For each program, residents will live at Allerton, immerse themselves in the surroundings, and utilize outdoor spaces and studio space to research and create.

The application for Summer 2023 is now available. The full details for applying and eligibility can be found on Allerton’s website, and you can read about past residents Nicole Anderson-Cobb and Latrelle Bright in our feature from last year.
