Amazon to Open New Pick-up Location at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Amazon Prime members will get Free Same-Day Pickup on millions of items when shipped to Amazon@Illinois
On Wednesday, November 16, Amazon will open its newest location, Amazon@Illinois, a fully staffed pickup location in the Illini Union Bookstore on campus.
Amazon@Illinois offers the University of Illinois community a convenient and secure location to pick up and return Amazon orders, including virtually everything one needs, from everyday essentials to technology. Additionally, Amazon Prime and Prime Student members will have access to Free Same-Day Pickup at the location for orders placed by 11 AM and Free One-Day Pickup for orders placed by 10 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new location after a short speaking program featuring Amazon@Illinois leadership, Illinois administration and student leaders. An informal reception will take place onsite after the program.
Amazon@Illinois is the first pickup location in Illinois.
