Now in its third cycle, Urbana’s Poet Laureate program offers an opportunity to not only be recognized (and win a little cash), but to also share creativity and potentially inspire.
You don’t need to be a resident of Urbana, but you do need to be a resident of Champaign County for at least a year before applying. You can read up on the guidelines and parameters on the application website.
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on October 24th. Additional information is available on the Urbana Poet Laureate program website.
