The event is hosted by First Followers, a local program that provides support for the formerly incarcarated, and will take place at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Champaign on May 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. Burton is the author of Becoming Ms. Burton: From Prison to Recovery to Leading the Fight for Incarcerated Women.
