This Sunday, March 4th is your last chance to hear from the democratic candidates for IL-13 in a town hall format. The C-U chapter of Bend the Arc is hosting the town hall at the Champaign Public Library from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Here are the details from their Facebook event:
Bend the Arc: CU will be having a town hall for Il-13 Democratic Congressional candidates just prior to the March 20 primary election. But THIS town hall will have a twist:
Since the Jewish holiday of Purim is around this time of year, we will be telling the story of the book of Esther. For those who are not familiar with the book of Esther from the Old Testament, you will have to come to this event and learn the story.
Since this is an Il-13 Democratic Congressional candidates’ town hall, we have invited those candidates. So far, Betsy Londrigan, David Gill, John Ebel and Eric Jones have accepted invitations. Please come and be ready to ask them questions. This may be your last chance to meet them prior to the primary.
