Bombay Market is opening a new location on University Avenue in Champaign this fall. The new store will offer all the same grocery goods as the original West Bradley Avenue Indian grocery store, plus more. The bigger space will house a halal butcher shop and a restaurant called Mama’s Kitchen. Inside the grocery store, Mama’s Kitchen restaurant will offer Indian cuisine for lunch and dinner takeout.

Currently, the Bradley Avenue location offers a wide selection of pantry goods, fresh produce, snacks, meats, frozen food, and housewares.

Until the new location opens, Bombay Market’s usual location will continue to be open, but when the grocery moves to the University Avenue spot, the Bradley Avenue location will close.

Bombay Market’s new location is anticipated to open soon, hopefully this September. To stay up to date, follow the small grocer on Facebook.
