The ground breaking ceremony for the Boneyard Creek Improvements Project is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14, at 3:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the northwest corner of Griggs and Race Streets.
According to the project’s website, “The project includes an outdoor gathering space and plaza on the east and west sides of Race Street. The existing railroad trestle bridge will be maintained in its original position, but will be upgraded to include a decked walkway and decorative guardrail. The bridge will also connect pedestrians from Race Street to the Station Theater at the street grade elevation.”
