Millage, a Centennial grad and environmental sustainability specialist for the City of Champaign, helped the USA Women’s National Sitting Volleyball Team make it to the gold medal match against Russia at the championships in the Netherlands. Unfortunately they came up short, but still a pretty amazing accomplishment. They also qualified for the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
This was her 4th appearance at the world championships, and she’s also competed in the past three paralympics.
