Founded by Meghan McDonald, a member of the community who has been active in the political arena as of late, C-U Trash Team is a new community trash pick up group that’s popped up.
It is a fairly new endevor where members will get together and do trash pick ups in various locations of the community on the weekends. You can follow them on Instagram to learn more about what they are doing, ask questions, and the like, if you’re interested in getting involved.
The group was inspired by someone very familiar to C-U, Urbana native Erin Fein, who founded a group called Echo Park Trash Club recently, as she lives in LA now. There’s some nice connectivity for you.
