Carle Illinois med students are holding a health clinic for Hispanic Heritage Month

Medical students from Carle Illinois College of Medicine have formed Campaña de Salud, a student group focused on providing health services to underresourced communities in C-U, specifically Latinx communities. They are launching a health fair in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, with the intention of making it an annual event.

The fair will be September 25th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 2103 North Dunlap in Champaign. They will offer free health screenings, and there will be booths dedicated to a variety of preventative health care topics. The fair will be staffed by Spanish-speaking physicians.

There will be food available for purchase, and live music performances.
