Moccasin Creek Festival is an annual 4-day music festival held June 22nd through June 25th at Lake Sara in Effingham, Illinois. The festival celebrates great songwriters and Americana music, featuring genres like folk, bluegrass, alt-country, roots rock, and blues. The founder, Bill (Poss) Passalacqua, comes from a musical family and has organized the event to showcase talented musicians. The festival offers various activities and amenities, including food and beverages, kids’ shows, camping, cabins for rent, a beach, a disc golf course, and nearby attractions like a golf course. Effingham provides accommodation options and a wide range of restaurants. The lineup for the festival includes artists like American Aquarium, Adeem the Artist, Trout Fishing In America, Carsie Blanton, Chicago Farmer, Beth Bombara, and Merry Travelers, among others.
