WEFT Community Radio is celebrating 40 years of being on the air here in C-U, and they are inviting the community to join them for WEFT Fest at Seven Saints from 2 to 6 p.m. this Sunday, September 26th. There will be live music in the beer garden featuring:
2 p.m. – Brian Stark and the Blue-Funk All-Stars
3 p.m. – Singer/songwriter Michael Kammin
4 p.m. – Wildwood String Band
5 p.m. – Cobalt Blues Band
There will be CDs, WEFT merchandise, and a raffle with prizes donated by OLLI (Oshers Lifelong Learning Institute), Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Columbia Street Roastery, Delight Flower Farm, the Red Herring Restaurant, Cinema Art Gallery, PACA, Ryan Groff and Perennial Sound Studio. Raffle tickets are for sale at the event, and you must be present to win.
