Celebrate with other Girl Scout alums at Hamilton Walker’s this Sunday

If you were ever a Girl Scout, or you are currently a Girl Scout, you know all about Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the organization. Fun fact: Did you know that her nickname was “Daisy” and that’s why the youngest troops are called “Daisies?” Now you do. Low founded what is now known as the Girls Scouts 108 years ago.

This Sunday, March 8th, Hamilton Walker’s and Girl Scouts of Central Illinois are hosting a Girl Scout Alumnae Tea in honor of this Girl Scout milestone. There will be sandwiches, desserts, and tea from 2 to 4 p.m., and it’s $20 per adult and $10 for kids 12 and under.

If you’d like to attend, you need to register by March 6th. You can do that online, or by contacting Stacey LaFeber at 217-693-4723 or [email protected]. Attendees are encouraged to wear “Girl Scout Green” and even hats and gloves if they want to get really fancy.
