Earlier this week, Urbana Mayor Diane Marlin released a statement regarding the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord, and asserted her committment to taking action locally to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow the impact of global warming. Now Champaign Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen has spoken up as well. Here is her statement:
