Since we have experienced 382 months of winter this year, you may not have gotten a chance to do any yardwork. Therefore, the City of Champaign has given you some extra time to get it in before they come along and pick up your yard waste. Read on for the specifics:
Due to this year’s unusually late winter weather, one additional yard waste collection has been added for all Champaign residents.
All residents, in both the Orange Zone and Blue Zone, should place their yard waste materials at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018.
City crews will move through every zone to collect these additional materials as quickly and efficiently as possible.
This additional collection could take a few days, but all yard waste properly left at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on May 7, 2018 will be collected.
