Change is inevitable

This week we learned that Maize’s Green Street location is officially closed, as the building will be demolished to make way for new development. Don’t worry, though, you can still get your Maize fix at the Station in Downtown Champaign, at the Illini Union location, or from the food truck. We also learned that AM-KO will permanently close in July.

While these closures are indeed sad, there are always new restaurants, businesses, and opportunities popping up in Champaign-Urbana. It’s a transient town, and that means that things will come and go. One opportunity: We’re currently hiring an editor for our Culture section. Learn more about the responsibilities of the part-time gig here, or send us an email introducing yourself.
