Last week, Mark Thompson, owner of Slot & Wing Hobbies, was arrested for disrupting a William Ayers speech at Allen Hall. Champaign County State’s Attorney Julia Rietz decided not to press charges: “I am simply not interested in giving Mr. Thompson or Mr. Ayers any more of a platform than they’ve already had here.”
