Check out these pizzas at NAYA

If you haven’t been to NAYA yet, you are missing out. In the year it’s been open, it has become one of our favorite spots for a nice meal. Now, though, you can stop by for pizza, too.

We recently sampled three new pizzas (or pizze, if you’re feeling your Italian self) and a gnocchi dish. All pizzas are 11 inches. It’s enough to share with someone for a light meal (order a sald or an appetizer, too). Or, if you’re particularly hungry, one person could finish off an entire pizza, no judgement.

Here’s what we sampled:

  • Smoked burrata and mushroom ($20)

Imported Italian burrata, roasted cremini mushrooms, fresh spinach, garlic cream sauce, extra virgin olive oil, salt

  • Charred pepperoni ($14)

La Tempesta pepperoni, DOP La Fiammante San Marzano tomatoes, blend of mozzarella and provolone

  • NAYA Supreme ($23)

Spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, banana peppers, cremini mushrooms, black olives, shredded mozzarella and provolone; add an egg for an additional $1

At NAYA, three pizzas are served on individual metal baking dishes. One pizza is pepperoni, one has white sauce and mushrooms, one is a supreme style pizza with an egg. The table is a light brown wood and there are salt and pepper shakers on the table. Photo by Anna Longworth. Photo by Anna Longworth.

Other pizzas include:

  • Classic Margherita ($18)
  • Prosciutto Di Parma & Arugula ($20)
  • Korean Sweet Potato ($16)
  • Black Truffle ($25)

We also sampled the daily potato gnocchi special, which was gnocchi in an arrabiata sauce. There’s a new gnocchi special each day, so ask your server for more information.

Daily gnocchi special at NAYA is served in a large, gray ceramic dish. The gnocchi is garnished very generously with grated parmesan cheese. A metal spoon sits in the dish. There are salt and pepper shakers on the light brown wood table. Photo by Anna Longworth. Photo by Anna Longworth.
