New City of Urbana Poet Laureate Ashanti Files has put out her first call for submissions, continuing the tradition of The Laureate Likes, “showcasing of local poetry selected by the Poet Laureate.” Submissions are open to all Champaign County poets and should be ten lines or lines, as well as all-ages appropriate in language and content.
