Common Ground Food Co-op will teach you how to make chocolate ice cream on August 19th

For those who have a sweet tooth, Common Ground Food Co-op will be holding a class on August 19th to teach you how to make your own chocolate ice cream. 

From 3-5 pm, people will be able to learn how to make non-dairy cashew ice cream with longtime co-op owner Mel Weinstein for the low price of $5 for co-op member and $10 for the general public. Can you really put a price tag on knowledge, though?

Looking for a delicious alternative to dairy-based ice cream? Long time co-op owner, Mel Weinstein, has the solution! He will demonstrate his recipe for non-dairy ice cream made with cashews. In addition to the tasty treat, he will share his knowledge on the nutritional value and source of cashews, as well as helpful tips to make the best homemade vegan ice cream.
