This month’s Round Up for Good organization is Eastern Illinois Foodbank, and the Co-op will be going a step further with a month long food drive. So when you shop this month, consider picking up a bit extra to help someone in our community meet their food needs. Here are the details:
FOOD DRIVE all month long for Eastern Illinois Foodbank! You can purchase pre-made bags ($10 bags of $13.44 value or $20 bags of $26.76 value) which heavily feature EIF’s top 6 items of need. You can also shop from our shopping lists available at the endcaps.
Any donation is appreciated! 1 in 5 children in our area doesn’t know where their next meal will come from.
It’s a big month for us and EIF! We’re food driving + Rounding Up all June, which leads up to the July 1st Ice Cream Social, where we hope to raise 10,000 meals for the hungry in our community!
