Community Foundation of East Central Illinois hosts board bootcamps to assist those who lead or serve on the boards of area nonprofit organizations. Each bootcamp has a specific focus, and brings in individuals to share their expertise.
On November 15th, from 12 to 1 p.m., Denise Cappis from the accounting firm CliftonLarsenAllen, and Andrea Rundell, Executive Director of the YWCA of the University of Illinois will be presenting on nonprofit financial statements. The session will be on Zoom, and it will address “basic nonprofit financial jargon, nuances of accounting in the nonprofit sector, types of reports and how board members can use this information to make informed decisions.”
