Sushi Siam’s dine-in only bento box lunch specials ($13) are a really easy and delicious way to sample a bunch of things in one sitting.
Bento boxes are served with miso soup, a spring roll, a garden salad, four pieces of California roll, and your choice of chicken pad thai, chicken pad see ew, chicken pad kra-pao, or chicken with stir fried vegetables (with rice).
I opted for chicken pad thai, and was not disappointed. The pad thai was flavorful and full of chicken. The spring roll was hot and crispy, the sushi cold and well balanced. The salad offered a nice palate cleanser (and some fiber); I really liked the ginger dressing. It seems like a lot of food, and it is, but it’s just enough of everything that you feel satisfied without wanting to fall into an afternoon nap.
