That’s it, that’s the thought.
Well, okay, I have one more thought about corn sweat. I hate it. It’s among the absolute worst things about living in Champaign-Urbana. (C-U is otherwise a very nice place to live.) That oppressive humidity and wall of dense, wet air? No, thank you. If you’re new to C-U, welcome to corn sweat season.
As we inch closer to fall, the corn will be harvested and the temperatures will drop, so the corn sweat goes away. (Then we welcome fall allergy season.) In the meantime, enjoy the air conditioning at night and look forward to cooler temps next week.
