CU Folk and Roots Winter Weekend starts Thursday, February 2nd

CU Folk and Roots has a weekend-long mini festival starting this Thursday. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will feature nine different performances and two jam sessions at the Rose Bowl in Urbana. 

There are suggested donations for each show, but no cover. Here’s the lineup for Winter Weekend:

Thursday 2/2

5 pm Ashley Riley

630 pm Bandoneon Massacre

8 pm Occasional Cajun Band

Friday 2/3

5 pm Tunewrangler

730 pm New Missouri Fox Hunters

930 pm Rory Book and the Volumes

Saturday 2/4

2 pm – 330 pm Cajun jam with Occasional Cajun Band

330 pm – 5 pm Bluegrass jam with River Valley Rangers

6 pm Papashoy Klezmer Band

8 pm Woke Mountain Boys

930 pm River Valley Rangers
