Early voting for the consolidated election begins today

Yes, there was an election day on Tuesday. But now, it’s time to turn our attention from the primary to the general election. April 6th is election day for the consolidated general election, and early voting has already begun. Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting some of the races and referendums, but here is the basic info, from the Champaign County Clerk’s Office: 

Voters who were eligible to vote in the February 23, 2021 Primary from the City of Champaign precincts and the Cunningham Precincts (City of Urbana) can vote starting Thursday March 12, 2021, after the Primary Election results are certified. All other voters not in the above mentioned precincts will be able to vote starting today, February 25, 2021. If you have questions about your voting precinct, information can be found at the voter portal at this link https://champaigncountyclerk.com/elections/my-voting-information 

Vote by Mail request is open for the April 6, Consolidated Election and vote by mail ballots will begin being mailed to voters starting today, February 25, 2021.
