The Champaign Park District is hosting a series of free summer concerts at Hessel Park. The first performance is by the Edison Middle School Bands from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th. Here is the lineup of music for this summer:

- TyJon Charlie on June 3rd
- Samba Soul on July 1st
- Meadowhawk on August 5th
