We’ve talked a lot about the Champaign County Forest Preserves and their importance during this time of social distancing. We’re fortunate to still have them available to us during this time.
While you’re out enjoying the trails and natural areas, take that opportunity to flex your photography skills a bit. The Champaign County Forest Preserve District is hosting a photo contest, and winners will be featured in the CCFPD 2021 calendar, as well as their website and social media accounts.
You can submit up to three photos between April 20th and June 1st, and they must have been taken at one of the forest preserves in the past few years. You also need to include a caption that indicates the specific location and date approximate date of the photo.
Head over to their website to find the full list of rules and guidelines for submission. Winners will be announced via email and Facebook on July 1st.
