A new restaurant caught my eye while I was driving down Green Street today. Forage Kitchen is a counter service establishment featuring salads and grain bowls that originated in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Champaign location is now open at 503 E Green Street, in the former Starbucks space.
There doesn’t seem to be a Champaign-focused website or social media presence, but you can follow Forage Kitchen on Instagram to get an idea of what their menu items look like, and check out the Madison-based website to find their menu.
Though it’s a bit more difficult for non-campus folks to get to, I am excited for a place like this after mourning the loss of Core Life Eatery.
