We’re about to enter into one of the best times of year to experience Japan House. Soon the Sakura trees will begin to bud and bloom, and if you want the full Japan House spring experience, you should get tickets for their Spring Open House on April 15th. The event will be focused on the art of Bonsai. Reserve your spot for a tea ceremony led by the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Urbana-Champaign Association. Take a garden tour and learn all about the tea garden and Dry Rock Garden. There will be a free presentation by Kevin Faris, an Ohio-based bonsai practitioner and landscaper at 3 p.m.

Each of these experiences have a limited number of spots, so it’s best to get tickets soon.
