Good Judys’ Bagels, Champaign-Urbana’s new hit bagel business, will open a storefront this fall. Currently, Good Judys’ Bagels bagels are available exclusively at farmers markets or via catering, but soon the popular bagels will be served at their own brick-and-mortar shop in Urbana. The bagel bar will be located at The Pines (in the space that was the Urbana outpost of Decatur’s Namken Nutrition), and the menu will offer all the bagel flavors they currently offer plus all-new seasonal bagels, spreads, sandwiches, and drinks.
The owners posted the news on social media.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road with Good Judys’ Bagels as we announce our move to a brick-and-mortar store at The Pines on S Philo Road in Urbana…We’re creating a welcoming space for bagel and coffee lovers to gather and celebrate.
“We couldn’t be more excited to create a space where our community can enjoy our bagels together,” says Dakota Jeff Thomas-Wilhelm, co-founder and co-owner of Good Judys’ Bagels.
“We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received from the community. The café is for you, and we can’t wait to welcome you in,” says Jeff Thomas-Wilhelm, co-founder and head baker.

I’m a fan of these boiled bagels. Ever since my first bite of their everything bagel in May, I’ve been buying a short stack of everything (and sometimes blueberry, too) every single week at the market because they’re just so dang delicious. I’m curious to see what inventive bagel flavors they’ll dream up in a commercial kitchen, and I especially can’t wait to eat a fresh bagel at a bagel bakery.
