Have you had a meal at Intermezzo Cafe in the Krannert Center for Performing Arts? It’s a solid breakfast or lunch option offering a variety of soups and sandwiches, at least one daily special, and some gorgeous looking and tasting cakes.
It’s open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and also for dinner before KCPA performances. I attended the Circa: Humans show last night (which was amazing), and grabbed dinner at Intermezzo before.
I ordered the BLT with a side of fruit salad, and it was delicious ($7). I don’t usually order BLTs because it seems like something I could make at home, but it was the perfect sandwich for a cold and damp evening.
There’s plenty of parking around KCPA during the week, so it’s not too difficult to pop in and out.
