The 4th annual Raise the Woof competition is scheduled for September 17th, and Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is looking for sponsors, as well as build teams for the event. This year’s theme is “A Home 4 All”, and they’ve expanded the competition so that teams can build a house for a dog, cat, bird, rabbit…basically any small domestic animal.
There are two team categories, based on your level of building experience. Old Dogs are teams that are experienced builders, and it will be a free build. Young Pups are teams that need a bit more guidance.
Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring and/or forming a team can fill out those forms at the Habitat website.
