Per an email announcement, Hopscotch’s brunch outpost at The Literary in Downtown Champaign will be permanently closing on July 2nd. The Literary will remain open, as will Hopscotch’s John Street location.
From the email:
We are writing to inform you that as of July 2nd, 2023, we will be closing our restaurant permanently. It is with a heavy heart that we make this decision, as we have loved serving our community and sharing our passion for food with you.
It’s definitely a loss for Downtown Champaign, and for all of us who have enjoyed the snacks and breakfasts at the bookstore.
