This cocktail comes with a side of butter to add to the drink tableside — and it was amazing.

Before I added the butter, I sipped the warm drink, and it tasted like a hot toddy with herbal flavors of cinnamon, allspice, honey, and orange. When I added the butter — never have I ever had a cocktail with a pat of butter until now — the drink transformed into a decadent hot buttered rum. The novelty of adding butter from a shot glass to a cocktail was a fun touch, and I really enjoyed the wintery flavors of the cocktail.
Butters ($10) was made with rum, Hamilton Pimento Dram, herbal liqueur, spiced honey, brown sugar, allspice, cinnamon, and orange, served warm with cold chai butter. The butter was made with the Masala Chai from Walnut Street Tea Company which is cool. If you want to try a fun cocktail this winter, Butters is the one.
