Costumes, drag queens and kings, and the story of Esther? Sounds like an amazing way to spend your Wednesday evening.
Next Wednesday, March 4th, is the 3rd annual Purim Drag Show, happening at the Canopy Club from 9 to 11:30 p.m. (doors open at 8:30). The event is presented by Illini Hillel and Uniting Pride, and will featured local drag queens and kings presenting a dramatic retelling of the story of Queen Esther.
Tickets are just $5, and they can be purchased through Illini Hillel. Proceeds will support Uniting Pride.
