United Way of Champaign County is in search of 50 young professionals who are interested in learning about nonprofit volunteerism. The Emerging Community Leaders program happens annually, and is geared towards people aged 21 to 40. The program runs from March to October with a two hour event each month, plus a team project. Participants will learn about:
- Nonprofit Basics
- How to be an effective Board/Committee member
- Fundraising for Impact
- Finding your best volunteer fit
