Local emcee Jay Moses has a brand new full-length album on the horizon, however, while we wait, we have the release of a new EP. We’re going to take a closer look at #TheGenius next week for the Music section’s next installment of B-Sides, but for now, you can go check out the new release yourself tonight at the indi go Artist Co-Op in Downtown Champaign. Not only will they be spinning the new EP, but there will be some other cool happenings in store as well. From the Facebook event:
Jay Moses has recorded a brand new EP in anticipation of the hard release of his upcoming full-length, THE GENESIS.
With reflection, and flexing the verses and bars that have got him this far, Jay Moses will be joined by his crew The Gr8 Thinkaz at this event to showcase and display his talent and creation, #TheGenius.
Show time is 7PM, be prompt or you will most definitely miss out.
There will be a five dollar cover charge at the door.
There will be refreshments.
There will be an exclusive performance by The Gr8 Thinkaz.
