Illini Chabad is hosting a campus-wide Chanukah lighting and celebration tomorrow, Tuesday, November 30th at 6:30 p.m. on the University of Illinois Quad. The event is free; there will be food, of course, as well as music and the lighting of the menorah.
Greetings from Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs and remarks from U of I president Timothy Killeen are also part of the celebration.
Stop by for the ceremony and some latkes and doughnuts.
Chanukah began Sunday, November 28th and continues through Monday, December 6th.
