Lac La Belle are from Detroit, and play old school swinging Western Country and Backwoods American Music. Lac La Belle is an intriguing trio that juxtaposes the early decades of recorded rural American music with an urban sensibility informed by Detroit’s post-industrial environment. The result is a contemporary sound with all the vitality and beauty of the best Americana. They combine their own originals, with old-timey folk and country favorites, and some of the tunes in their swing repertoire are quite danceable. Check out their music here.
