The Land Connection

The Land Connection offers a wide variety of programming outside of producing their farmers’ markets, including this event coming up in June north of Champaign-Urbana in Danforth. A walk through a pasture seems like a nice thing to do these days, and this one is free and open to the public. On Thursday, June 27th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., this is happening at Hanson Land and Cattle.

You can register here, and learn more about the event below:

Join us and see firsthand how Doug Hanson has successfully integrated crops and livestock! Hanson Land and Cattle, located in Danforth, Illinois is a forage-focused operation that utilizes highly productive prairie soils and extensive annual and perennial forage sequence along with beef genetics selected to thrive in a forage-based beef program. We will start the morning off at Doug’s farm, followed by lunch and afternoon presentations at Doug’s daughter, Maddie’s farm.
