The Champaign Park District is closing the Lindsay Tennis Courts for approximately six weeks beginning Monday, July 19th so the courts can be resurfaced. Six weeks is an approximation, of course, given the wet weather we can’t seem to shake.
A full list of tennis courts is available on the CPD website; lighted courts are available at Spalding and Hessel. Many of the remaining tennis courts are also lined for pickleball. Here’s a gentle reminder to pickleball players that you can play inside at the Leonhard Rec Center, but tennis players do not have an indoor option through CPD.
