Champaign independent record label Polyvinyl has dropped the first episode of their new podcast The Polyvinyl Podcast. The show chronicles the label’s growth over the last 25 years and features interviews with the founders, artists, and “folks who have been a part of Polyvinyl’s enduring legacy.”
The first episode dropped on Wednesday, December 1st, and focuses on the beginnings before the label started, when founders Matt and Darcie Lunsford were putting on shows in Danville and publishing zines. The episode also features interviews with Mike Kinsella (American Football), David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), Bob Nanna and Todd Bell (Braid), and many more.
