NAYA, the restaurant at the corner of Third and Green, has been closed since July of 2022, but there’s a new banner out front announcing a rebrand coming soon: NAYA Indian Cuisine and Bar. No opening date has been announced yet.
Opened in 2019 with a delicious Asian Italian-inspired menu, NAYA was named one of the BEST new C-U restaurants of the decade. Later, the Campustown restaurant renamed to NAYA Bar & Eatery and shifted to a new menu of sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and weekend brunch.

NAYA was the third restaurant in Champaign-Urbana opened by restaurateur Jin Park who also owns Sakanaya (which is open) and Sakanaya Downtown (which is not open) in Miga’s old space.
