Maps & Atlases to return to C-U; The Walkmen to perform at Krannert

Mark off the weekend of November 13 – 15, indie rock fans.

Not even two months after their performance at Pygmalion, Maps & Atlases will return to C-U on November 13 at Courtyard Cafe. They will be supported by Ruby Rodeo Love from southern Indiana.

At this year’s Pygmalion, many people stood shocked with the band’s metronomic-math rock perfections. Is that a word? Probably not, but their show was absolutely stunning.

Based in Chicago, the band has earned a reputation for being one of the most progressive artists in the Midwest, and will likely bring the same energy that they brought to the festival to the space that is Courtyard Cafe.

And on November 14, Pygmalion Music Festival will present an ABSOLUTELY FREE show featuring The Walkmen. Yeah, that’s right. The Walkmen. That band. The show is on Stage 5 in the Krannert Center lobby at around 9:45 p.m.

So, there. Stuff to do.
