You can celebrate Earth Day at Miller Park Zoo on Saturday, April 23rd, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the kickoff celebration for their month long Party for the Planet.
See some adorable animals, check out (and vote on) recycled art sculptures, and learn more about caring for the planet. Can’t make it then? There are plenty of opportunities to participate in earth-friendly events over the course of the next month:
- The Great Clean Up – Join the people who help keep the parks clean for a clean up day.
- Pollinators Rock! – Learn about how the zoo attracts and protects pollinators and endangered plant series.
- Mini Golf for Conservation – Check out the Miller Park mini golf course and support conservation efforts at the zoo.
- Endangered Species Day – Do a scavenger hunt and learn about endangered animals at the zoo.
