National Italian Beef Day is a sacred day of celebrating Italian beef sandwiches on the fourth Saturday of May.

If you want ideas of where to find one in Champaign-Urbana, I wrote about the sandwiches from Baldarotta’s, Baxter’s, Manzella’s, Papa Del’s, and Po’ Boys in this list of Champaign-Urbana solid Italian beefs. I also love Garro’s Taste of the City‘s Bulls beef, which is so good and rivals the juicy, sogginess of a Portillo’s dipped beef. Steph wrote about the tasty Italian beef at Filippo’s of Mahomet, and Ashley liked the one at Old Orchard.

Where are you getting beefy this National Italian Beef Day? Let me know or leave a comment on our socials.
