Champaign-Urbana is a transient community due to the nature of the University of Illinois being a centerpiece of our culture, and with it, new people come and go year in and year out. If you’re making C-U your new home for the time being, you might be looking for resources (outside of this magazine), and one that might appeal to you is the New to C-U Mixers that Make It C-U and Experience Champaign-Urbana put on every quarter.
On Thursday, September 12th from 5 to 7 p.m., you can head out to Prairie Fruits Farm and Creamery for the opportunity to meet newcomers and be greeted by Make It C-U’s Welcome Crew. If you moved here in 2021 or after, they’re inviting you to join, and food is on them, you just need to RSVP by September 6th.
