Spark Museum + Play Cafe recently announced its closing. Today, the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum announced that they would honor any current memberships with the Spark Museum. Here are the details:
To continue providing access to the greatest educational opportunities for our communities’ children, the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum (OCSM) announces that it will honor ALL current memberships with the closed Spark Museum + Play Café in Urbana, IL under the Association of Children’s Museum network benefits. This access will include the reciprocal entry discount (i.e., 50% off general admission per visit for up to two adults and four kids) throughout 2018 and is contingent on the immediate purchase of a 2019 OCSM Super Family membership. The OCSM’s Super Family membership will be valid January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019!
Super Family memberships at the OCSM include many benefits such as free admission per visit for up to four adults and four children. It also provides discounts for:
birthday party rentals,
gift shop purchases,
entry to special events, and
Spring, Fall, and Summer science and art camps and clubs.Additionally, the OCSM Super Family members enjoy free or reduced admission at hundreds of museums across the world that are affiliated with the Association of Children’s Museums and the Association of Science and Technology Centers. The regular purchase price is $125 and the OCSM membership typically pays for itself with as few as four visits to the OCSM.
