Parkland has a full slate of Black History Month events

A Black man and three Black women are seated around a round white table. They have plates of food and papers in front of them.

The theme for Parkland’s Black History Month celebration this year is “The Total You: Better Health, Better Connections, Better Lives.” All of their events are free and open to the public. The one exception is a Soul Food lunch on February 15th. Sorry, have to have a Parkland ID for that one. Hooray if that is you! A couple of highlights:

  • Bystander Intervention Training, February 14, 10 am and 1 pm sessions, Student Union Cafeteria (or online using links below)
Learn how to respond, intervene, and heal from harassment.
